Il Jhadir is the Padishah of Zertanien, the supreme ruler of the nomad tribes in the Desert of Swift Death, the Zun, and of the few walled cities around the desert of Kezunsea on Karcanon.
He replaced the previous Padishah, Shuad el Ahara, who barely defended the realm against a rebel nomad leader, Barak yl Yassara, exactly 20 years ago, in the Year of Generals, 406 post Pondaron.
