Elvil (or Elviil) is one of the names for the spring-deity Jaffna in Garunia, one part of the three-partite empire of GarElDa. Elviil is the legendary (and as legend will have it: natural) mother of (every of) the rulers, the X'Al. Her serial loss and regaining of virginity is accomplished with the help of the male unicorn.

Elvil (oder Elviil) îst ein Name und eine besondere Form der Anbetung der Frühlingsgöttin Jaffna in Garunia, dem Machairas-Teil des Dreikaiserreichs GarElDa. Sie ist die Mutter der Könige des Königshauses der X'Al. Jeder der Könige des Landes muß eine Zeit auf der heiligen Insel bei der Inkarnation Elvils verbringen, eine Verbindung, aus der jeweils der nächste X'Al hervorgeht.
